Design
Davtrend Limited aims to provide it's customers with reliable power
supply designs that have been specially configured to meet their
needs, taking into consideration their constraints of time scale
and price. Our highly trained and experienced engineers are located
close to our production area. Design Reviews are carried out at
the critical points in development and the co-operation between
our manufacturing and engineering departments ensures smooth passage
from design through to manufacture. We involve our engineers at
the earliest opportunity to ensure all customer needs are understood.
Our aim is to provide you with a prototype power supply that meets
your needs - not just one which fulfils our contractual responsibility.
Quality
Davtrend Limited has recognised the need for a total quality system
which has been implemented throughout the business to satisfy it's
customer requirements competently.
Our structured control system starts at the receipt of an enquiry,
through quotation, design and manufacture to after-sales providing
reliability of both product and customer service whilst fully discharging
our responsibilities with respect to product liability.
Every member of staff is committed to Quality. Quality is designed
into our power supplies, they are controlled by appropriate and
specific documentation, complied with by each Operator, monitored
by control systems, reviewed by management and verified by final
test.
Our Test Department has a comprehensive range of test equipment
and every power supply is 100% tested and soaked prior to delivery.
We hold weekly Quality Meetings which are proactive and keep the
whole company focus on quality improvement.
Manufacturing
Our Manufacturing resource contains a mix of manual, semi-automatic
and automatic assembly capabilities using both surface mount and
conventional component technology. We design and manufacture our
own Coils and Transformers for integration into final product.
All our prototype power supply designs are built in-house on our
main production line ensuring they can be produced cost-effectively
in volume for the future.
Davtrend Limited has a highly flexible manufacturing environment
suitable for a wide range of product types and volumes. We are ESD
compliant and will be Lead-free by July 2006.
Davtrend Limited is committed to meeting agreed production schedules.
We understand our customer's timescales may change from time to
time, and we work with them to cater for these changes. We take
a pride in our responsiveness to customer needs and our flexibility
in satisfying them.
Warranty
Davtrend Limited is committed to providing the highest level of
customer service. Our technical support and customer service backs
up our power supplies. We offer a comprehensive warranty on all
our power supplies, generally set at 12 months (although in consultation
with our customers, longer periods may be determined).
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur
through normal use, but does not extend to cover defects caused
by accident, fair wear and tear, negligent use, tampering, improper
handling, improper use, improper operation, improper storage, or
any other default on the part of any person other than Davtrend
Limited personnel.
